Which type? A storage trunk or blanket box has a lid-up top and the deepest space inside, so it suits spare bedding and a bedroom window. A storage trunk bench or shoe storage bench is seat height, around 45 to 55 cm, for a hallway, with drawers or a pull-out shoe rack beneath the seat. Ottomans on castor legs roll up to a sofa.

Frames are mango wood made in India, in oak-ish, chestnut and walnut finishes, and the leather seats are buffalo hide in tan, brown and black; some benches have linen or rattan tops instead.
