The BC-13 is a super king-size vertical fold-down wall bed built with a metal frame. Designed for maximum sleeping space without sacrificing floor area, it features a soft-close pneumatic mechanism, internal shelves, locking system and duvet straps as standard.

Mattress Information

Mattress not included. This bed requires a 180 × 200 cm mattress. Recommended mattress thickness: 20 cm, maximum mattress weight: 32 kg — heavier or thicker mattresses may cause folding issues. A compatible foam or bonnell sprung mattress is available separately.

Assembly & Wall Mounting

Wall beds must be fixed directly to a solid structure such as brick, concrete or a solid timber frame. Wall beds must not be fixed to a plasterboard or similar unless there is a solid structure underneath it. Wall fixings for your specific type of wall can be purchased at a local DIY store.

Yes, if you are comfortable with DIY. Each bed comes with detailed, step-by-step assembly instructions. Because the frame must be safely anchored to a wall, we recommend two people for assembly, or hiring a local handyman.
Can bedding stay inside when closed?
Absolutely. The bed is designed with secure heavy-duty duvet and pillow straps. This allows you to fold the bed up while fully made, ready to sleep in the moment you pull it down again.
What mattress fits?
Use the mattress size, maximum thickness and recommended weight shown for this model in Product details. Staying within those limits allows the bed to close correctly and the lifting mechanism to remain balanced.
Do I need professional installation?
Professional installation is not mandatory, but wall beds must be securely anchored to a wall for safety. If you are not experienced with wall mounting and fixing types, we highly recommend booking a local handyman or assembly professional.
How long is delivery?
Delivery time depends on the selected model and your postcode. UK wall bed orders include two-person delivery, and the delivery team will contact you to arrange a suitable date before arrival.
Can it be fixed to plasterboard walls?
Wall beds must be fixed directly into a solid structural element (solid brick, concrete, or load-bearing wooden studs). Do not fix directly into plasterboard alone. If mounting to a stud wall, you must anchor the brackets into the timber studs.
