Maternity pillows & pregnancy cushions

Pillow or cushion? A pregnancy pillow is the long shape you sleep with: the U-shape runs from above your head to below your knees and supports your front and back at once. A pregnancy cushion is the smaller support you tuck where you need it: the Cuddle Pillow is about 79 × 74 cm, sits under the bump, behind the back or on your lap for feeding, and fits a small double bed. The pregnancy and labour cushion is the firm foam one for lying on your front.

We do not stock C-shaped, J-shaped or bump-wedge pillows, and our bed wedges raise the upper body rather than the bump. For back ache in bed, lie on your side with the U-shape’s back arm behind you, or use a knee pillow plus an ordinary pillow behind your back; a pillow changes your position, not the cause, so speak to your midwife if pain persists. A 12ft replacement cover is sold separately. After the birth, both fibre pillows work for feeding and sitting up; keep them out of your baby’s sleep space.
